Ram2 is a contemporary artist who moves fluidly between oil painting and experimental sculpture.
Currently, he is extracting anime visuals from their original narratives to achieve a state of emptiness, evoking a sense of the eternal and the transcendent. He also creates sculptures with functional appearances that challenge conventional forms and materials through intentional limitations.
Interaction plays a significant role in his practice, with some works only reaching completion through the engagement of the viewer.
This exhibition takes a step back to view his work in a broader, cumulative context—both as a cohesive body of work and as a snapshot of his practice within the contemporary landscape.
Ram2は、油彩と実験的な彫刻の間を行き来する現代アーティストです。
現在、彼はアニメのビジュアルを元のストーリーから切り離し、「空（くう）」の状態に到達することで、永遠性や超越の感覚を表現しようとしています。また、形や素材に意図的な制約を加え、機能的な外観を持ちながらも常識にとらわれない彫刻作品を制作しています。
彼の作品において「対話」と「関与」は重要な要素であり、鑑賞者の手を介して初めて完成するものも存在します。
本展は、一歩引いて彼の作品をより広い視点で捉え、蓄積された表現の流れとして、また現代アートの中での彼の実践の一瞬を切り取るものとして紹介します。

“Skybox” 2025.2.20 (thu) – 3.02 (sun) 🧊 Such As, Galleryで、情緒（東京）とbeanlette（英国）による展示『Skybox』を開催します。
情緒とbeanletteはお互いの言語を話せないけれど、自然の情景をデジタル加工するという共通の感覚を持つアーティスト達。『Skybox』は、ディザ処理された緑や曇り空の青、画像の歪みや優しいイラスト、可愛い女の子やガラスのキューブ、ビットクラッシュされた森の風景や液状化された空のフォトグラメトリを共有する感性から生まれた展示。
今回はコラボ作品『ASCII Girl』を中心に、jyoucyoとbeanletteによるそれぞれの個別作品8点並べます。ぜひ見に来てください。
Although they can’t speak each other’s languages, jyoucyo (Tokyo) and beanlette’s (UK) artwork is aligned around the same core of digital manipulation of nature. ‘Skybox’ is the real-world result of a shared appreciation for dithered greens and cloudy blues; image distortion and gentle illustrations; cute girls and glass cubes; bit-crushed forest vistas and liquified sky photogrammetry.
‘Skybox’ aims to showcase their unique work together, featuring ‘ASCII Girl’ as the exhibition’s collaborative centrepiece, with 8 other individual pieces by both jyoucyo and beanlette also on display.

beanlette（noah）は英国出身のデジタルアーティスト。緑豊かなイギリスの田舎で育ち、最近21世紀の東京へと移り住んだbeanletteは、コンピュータ上で混沌とした平和な、デジタル圧縮された自然の世界を探求している。長い間インターネット上だけで活動してきたデジタルアーティストだったが、『Skybox』はbeanletteにとって初めての現実世界での展示となる。
beanlette (noah) is a digital artist from the UK. Raised in the green English countryside, but recently transplanted into 21st-century Tokyo, beanlette explores chaotic, peaceful, digitally-compressed nature worlds on the computer. After many years existing as a digital-only internet artist, ‘Skybox’ is their first real-life exhibition as a creator.

「Play」は、子供時代の喜びや友達と遊んだ思い出を再び呼び覚ますグループ展です。おもちゃと遊びをテーマに制作した3人のアーティストが、多彩でユニークな作品を展示します。
• Heymugi: 身につけると、まるで自分だけのマスコットキャラがそばにいるような気持ちになる、愛らしくて個性あふれるキャラクタージュエリー。
• NOY: 教室の窓からぼんやり想像していた冒険や魔法の世界を形にした、鮮やかなリソグラフ版画と、それが飛び出してきたかのようなフィギュアたち。
• supermetalxbosch: 触れるだけでなく、実際に遊べる磁器製フィギュアバトルゲーム SUPER METAL MONS。
どの作品も、ただ見るだけではなく、手に取ったり、感じたりすることでその魅力が一層深まります。遊び心に満ちたアートの世界をお楽しみください。
“Play” brings together three multidisciplinary artists whose works delve into the theme of toys and play. This exhibition invites you to revisit the wonder and energy of childhood—the nostalgia of the playground and the joy of shared imagination.
• Heymugi: Charming, one-of-a-kind character jewelry that feels like having your own little mascot by your side wherever you go.
• NOY: Bright, imaginative risograph prints and figurines that look like they’ve jumped right out of the magical, adventurous daydreams you had staring out the classroom window.
• supermetalxbosch: SUPER METAL MONS, a porcelain figurine table top game that’s made to be played with.
These works aren’t just for looking at—they come alive when you hold them, interact with them, and rediscover the joy of play.

作品はもちろん、ステッカーやアパレル、過去作等のグッズも展示/販売予定です！どなたでもぜひ！
In Akira’s third solo exhibition, they take us back to the question-filled worlds of the past—hand-drawn mazes from school days, quirky fortune-telling fads, and gamebooks shared with friends. It’s a chance to let your eyes and mind play! 💡💡💡
In addition to the artworks, there will be stickers, apparel, and goods from previous works on display and available for purchase. Everyone is welcome—don’t miss it!

All the Wild Things – an exhibition presented by Such As Gallery – represents the culmination of Knuckles & Notch’s 10 years creative journey. It showcases a diverse mix of artworks, – dreams, obsessions, collaborations, and moments of pure madness that have taken place in the studio over the years. Featuring everything from Risograph prints to zines, art books, and exclusive merchandise, this collection embodies the vibrant, ever-evolving spirit of their studio.

About the Studio
Established in 2013, Knuckles & Notch is a creative studio and Risograph press based in Singapore known for their manically colourful and often bizarre aesthetic. Their love for art-making is rooted in the inimitable charm of the analogue medium. They believe in the unique quality of the hands-on process, where idiosyncrasies foster greater relatability between creators and their audience. In that spirit, they persist in creating art through analogue means while continually exploring innovative ways to harmonise traditional mediums with our ever-changing contemporary landscape.

本展では、虢子楷（Sheep）の人魚や中国の伝統的な妖怪譚への興味、そしてそれらに対する深い考察が色濃く表現された作品が展示されます。
奇妙さと美しさが共存する物語の世界が、まるでその場で息づいているかのような迫力と臨場感で広がります。

This solo exhibition features works by 虢子楷 (Sheep), reflecting the artist’s deep fascination and exploration of mermaids and traditional Chinese supernatural beings.
The showcased pieces weave a world where strangeness and beauty coexist, brimming with vividness and an atmosphere so lifelike it feels as if the stories are coming to life before your eyes.

「虢子楷（Guo Zikai）（ペンネーム：sheep）は1989年に中国で生まれました。イラスト誌『季刊S』2011年4月号「変身」に作品が掲載されています。個人画集『幻戲』『妖絵巻』『水仙』を出版しており、映画『空海−KU-KAI−美しき王妃の謎』『ビッグフィッシュ&ベゴニア』『モンスターハント2』のポスター制作にも携わっています。また、ファッションブランドKappaとのコラボレーションで、「白蛇伝説」や「五行水」の靴デザインも手がけています。彼の画風は独特で、美しくも奇妙な絵画スタイルを持ち、中国伝統絵画と浮世絵の要素を融合させた、強い個性を持つ水彩画スタイルを確立しています。
GAFアートフェスティバルは2020年に設立され、広州イラストアートカルチャー有限公司が運営するアートプロジェクトです。イラスト、絵本、テーマ展示、マーケット、書籍、絵画など、クリエイティブなビジョンを集めたアート交流の場であり、自主制作の作品展示やサイン会、シェアのプラットフォームを提供します。また、展覧会の企画、運営、アートプロモーションなどのサービスも行っています。都市アートの独自ブランドとして、アーバンアートのイメージを再定義し、最大規模で高品質な国際的イラストアートフェスティバルを目指しています。」

“Capture” showcases three unique chessboards, each reimagined by an artist to explore themes of strategy, survival, and intensity through the classic game of chess.
Erica Whyte は、生物的要素が織り交ぜられたミニマリストなチェスセットを制作し、ファンタジーとサイエンスフィクションの境界に挑みます。
Naomi Dodds は、他の世界の存在から着想を得たミラーポリッシュ加工のアルミニウム製チェスピースを制作し、宝石のような輝きを放つ作品を提供します。
Ananda Gabo は、印鑑と自身のインクイラストを組み合わせ、花を巡るキャラクターたちの戦いを表現しています。
チェスセット、個別のチェスピース、プリント作品も販売予定です。

Such As, Gallery is pleased to present “HARBINGERS”, a tandem show with over 20 new works by Niv Bavarsky (LA) and Nick Iluzada (Tokyo). Originating from a painting that Niv created of an ominous figure, a multitude of faces making up its limbering body, both artists explore the visceral, the foreboding, and the effects of a vague, permeating sense of uneasiness.
